First Division Division 1 the highest ranked division out of the thirteen, and is traditionally lead by the Captain Captain commander. Subordinates that are placed in the first division are respectively considered to be the ideal shinigami, and they are commonly known for their brilliance in either leadership skills, or well rounded style of fighting.	0	0
Second Division The Second Squad of the thirteen Gotei that is known for their association with the Onmitsukido, and acts as the police officers of the Seireitei. Arguably, this division contains the most potentially dangerous and disciplined squad members for the obvious reason; they specialize in assassination, policing, detention, and acting as messengers. Third Division Squad Three is home of yet another well rounded group of Shinigami. Shinigami of the Third Division specialize in the collection of intelligence against the enemies of Soul Society.	0	0
Fourth Division A squad that stands out from the rest. While the other squads' duties are combat related, the fourth division members are the opposite. They are the heath and labor unit of the seretei, excelling with their medical skills and are one of the most fast acting divisions as well as the most hard working. If they are not tending patients at the hospital, they are in charge of cleaning the Seretei. Despite the ridicule and rivalry set between them and the eleventh division, squad four is also known for their humble, and nurturing natures.	0	0
Fifth Division The Fifth Division is well rounded, as they specialize in the use of counter intelligence, using information gained from their partners in the Third Division.	0	0
Sixth Division Squad Six is another model division to every shinigami as they are hard working and take pride of their position. It is also this pride that makes them the most strict when it comes to tradition and rules; therefore, it is Squad Six's duty to enforce the law. They are the Shinigami Cops; similar to the Second Squad's Secret Mobile Corps, though the Sixth Division acts much more freely than does the Second, who would be tasked with handling tasks of higher danger and risk. Seventh Division Squad Seven is comprised of very cunning and kind individuals. Therefore, it is only fitting that their duty encompasses the patrolling of the Rukongai, ensuring order is maintained and structure is present.	0	0
Eighth Division The Eighth Division is perhaps the Division which houses the highest number of slackers in Soul Society history. However, they do not have too hard of a job, which allows for such. Shinigami in this Division run the Soul Society's, "media," and are responsible for things such as the Seireitei Magazine and Newspaper.	0	0
Ninth Division Members of Squad Nine excel academically and have very sharp minds. Thus, they work very closely with Squads Three and Five. However, unlike those two Squads, the Ninth Division documents, processes, stores and protects the knowledge obtained from those two Squads. It is also worth noting that somewhere within the Ninth Division is a vast library, rivaling in magnitude and completion even the great Central Forty-Six Library.	0	0
Tenth Division Home to some of the most aggressive - yet sharp - Shinigami, it would only make sense that Squad Ten's duty is that of battlefield tactics and planning. Members of this Squad know how to fight, and they know how to fight good. Of course they aren't as specialized as Squad Eleven, though they could likely outwit a member of Squad Eleven if they couldn't overwhelm them with pure strength.	1	1	Tenth Division I... Eleventh Division Squad Eleven. What more is there to say? Members of Squad Eleven focus primarily on their swordsmanship and are among the strongest Shinigami in all of Seireitei. Their Captain is named the Kenpachi, and ownership of both the title and rank can only shift when the previous holder of title and rank are killed in combat by the newcomer.	0	0
Twelfth Division The brains of the Seireitei, literally. Squad twelve specializes in research and scientific development. Often using research for either their own amusement, and to analyze targets that may serve as potential threat to the soul society. Usually resulting in them being a step ahead of their opponents if enough data is gathered. Often they come up with various solutions to the Seireitei's problems through their inventions or new found information and like the fourth division, hardly participate in combat unless necessary. They stand out from the other shinigami with rather bizarre physical and/or personality characteristics, and are often seen with lab coats over their uniforms.	1	9	Flying Cotton Ca... Thirteenth Division Squad Thirteen is tasked with the Real World Affairs and are, by far, the most numerous, but least skilled, Division in general. Members of this Squad are assigned various areas around the world to patrol and protect from Hollows, as well as conduct Soul Burials.	0	0
